Depending on your starting point, you can also get into Sofia via trains and buses, which can give you more time to savor the scenery. The Central Bus Station is conveniently situated near the city center, and offers services for both domestic and international destinations. Going Around Sofia

Sofia is one of the most enjoyable cities to explore by foot in Europe. If you want to go around the city without stressing your feet and legs too much, you can always opt to use the public transport system; this efficient system includes trams, trolleys, buses and the subway line. Just keep in mind that these public transport systems are available only until midnight – if you plan on ending your day later than 12AM, the only means of transportation available are the taxis.
